New measures, including a traffic control system based on odd and even number plates and limiting the number of vehicles on site at any one time, are in place at all of our sites so that users and staff can stick to social distancing rules to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Find out everything you need to know including when you can visit, what’s accepted, important safety information and opening times on our recycling centre pages.
Access to sites
Vehicles will only be allowed into recycling centres on certain days depending on whether the last number on their number plate is odd or even. Vehicles with 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8 as the last number will be allowed in on even dates in the month and those with 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9 will be allowed in on odd dates in the month.
- Today is an even number day
- Tomorrow is an odd number day
As our recycling centres will need to follow social distancing rules, there may be queues when you visit.
Our recycling centres are open from 8.30am to 6pm. The waiting times for each centre will be shown during opening times:
You may need refresh this page to see the latest waiting times.
If there is a long waiting time then please consider going to the recycling centre at another time. When our centres are closed the waiting times will be removed. If there is a waiting time before a centre opens in the morning, it means there is already a queue. Please avoid turning up early to queue.
We also have a map showing recycling centres.
