Local Transport Plan 3 (2011 to 2026)
The Local Transport plan (LTP) sets out Derbyshire's transport strategy and a path towards transport investment that will result in a more sustainable and healthy transport system, managing carbon emission and improving public health and safety, which also supports the local and sub-regional economy.

In addition to the Local Transport Plan there are also more detailed transport-related strategies and policies, including the:
Transport studies
We also undertake transport studies in communities, such as the Chesterfield Cycle Network, the Glossop transport and economy project, Ashbourne transport study, and the Derby to Manchester rail line study.
We also assess new development proposals to help minimise transport impacts.

We also seek funding from external agencies to support improving our local transport networks.
