We want to help you plan and make your journey by public transport and have made online journey planners, bus and train timetables available to assist you.

Plan your journey on public transport

The Traveline journey plannerwill help you find the best routes and connections for your journey by bus and train.

Make a journey by bus

We've made timetable information available to help you with bus journeys you want to make in Derbyshire or the surrounding area.

Find a bus timetable

If you know the number of the bus you want you can use the online timetable library.

You can also view a map of bus services.

If you know the place you want to go to or from, or the bus stop you want to use and your journey is in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire or Lincolnshire you can use the Traveline journey planner.

Telephone enquiries

The Traveline telephone information service has the timetables of bus services for Derbyshire and surrounding counties. Tel: 0871 200 22 33 any time from 7am to 10pm, any day. Calls cost 12p per minute plus your phone company's access charge.

Make a journey by train

You can get information on train timetables, fares and disruption through National Rail.

Timetables are subject to alteration especially during bank holidays, and at weekends when engineering work may affect train services.

Special assistance is available for disabled or mobility-impaired people travelling by train. If you need special assistance, contact the appropriate train operating company, giving them 24 hours' notice of your journey. They will then arrange help for you at each stage of your journey, and reserve a seat for you, if reservations are available.

Disabled people can take advantage of railcards which give discounts on train fares.
