Independent living services

Independent living services consist of one-to-one support and respond to people’s needs across a spectrum of housing related activities. Support can be delivered within the home, in a community hub or other suitable place.

Support can include:

  • support with tenancy related paperwork
  • housing benefits claims and appeals
  • setting up and managing utilities
  • support to comply with the conditions of a tenancy and preventing tenancy breakdown
  • help with moving to more appropriate accommodation
  • health, wellbeing and safety advice
  • support to manage risk or crisis
  • signposting to welfare rights and other agencies
