Love Food Hate Waste

Tips for re-using food, saving money and reducing waste from the Love Food Hate Waste campaign.

Love Food Hate Waste is a national campaign to reduce the amount of food waste sent to landfill. We waste seven million tonnes of food and drink every year in the UK, this waste is a waste of resources and bad for the environment.

It's also a waste of money. Did you know that every month UK households throw away an average of £60 worth of food that could have been eaten? On average we throw away around a fifth of what we buy!

But by making the following changes we could all feel the benefit in our pockets. We have a new campaign to help everyone make their food go further and save money.
