A to Z guide on waste - R

Some ideas to help you decide what to do with your unwanted items.

Radiators

Take your old and unwanted household radiators to any of our household waste recycling centres. We only accept radiators from household DIY jobs. We do not accept complete replacement central heating systems or any from installers.

Records

See CDs, DVDs, records and tapes under A to Z guide on waste - C.

Rubble

You could use clean rubble as hardcore when laying a driveway.

Advertise bags of rubble on Freecycle or Freegle network.

Donate rubble to a local community project that may find it useful - check with them first.

A maximum of 50kg of rubble is accepted at our household waste recycling centres.

Larger landscaping quantities should be disposed of or recycled by hiring a skip. Please check online to find your nearest licensed skip company.
