Latest update Friday 9 January 4.50pm
We've been able to re-open all roads we closed due to Storm Goretti, including Winnats Pass, which is now passable with care as there are two abandoned cars remaining.
The roads already reopened today are the A5004 (Long Hill), A53 (Axe Edge), the A537 (Cat and Fiddle), the A6024 (Holme Moss) and the A57 (Snake Pass).
National Highways have the latest weather updates for the A38, A50, A628, and any other roads they maintain.
