East Midlands Railway, Cross Country Trains and Northern Railway also offer current information about problems with their services.
Bus service disruption
For details of disruption to bus services, please visit Traveline where summaries of disruption due to road closures or other emergencies are available.
The Traveline journey planner will also show details of changes to services resulting from road closures or diversions.
Most bus companies provide details of disruption to their services on their own websites, and some (including Arriva Midlands, Hulleys, TM Travel and Trentbarton) will also offer up-to-date information on Facebook during adverse weather.
During periods of disruption due to bad weather BBC Derby has information about travel difficulties.
12 July 2025 - Hathersage Gala Procession will affect some bus journeys
The gala procession takes place between 1.30pm and 2.45pm. All traffic will be held behind the procession and move with it as a rolling road closure through the village.
The arrangements made for affected bus journeys are as follows:

12:36 departing Sheffield will run via Ecclesall Road, Brocco Bank, Newbould Lane, Glossop Road, Manchester Road (A57) to Ladybower, A6013 to Bamford where it will return to the normal route and visa-versa for the return trip from Castleton at 14.01
High Peak 271/272
13:36 departing Sheffield will run as normal route with possible delay at Hathersage
Andrews of Tideswell 257
Journeys 12:00 and 13:00 departing Sheffield and 11:55, 12:55 and 13:55 departing Bakewell will operate via Bradwell and Eyam
Stagecoach Sightseer Blue
Expected diversion 12:45 – 14:45 Calver Sough, A623, B6049 to return to normal route A6187 Brough and visa-versa
