For people who go to live in a care home which provides nursing care, the NHS contribution from April 2023 is set at a single rate of £219.71per week.
These amounts are reviewed each year, usually at the beginning of April.
People with financial resources in excess of £23,250 will also be eligible for a determination and receive a contribution from the NHS towards the cost of their care.
