Benefits of a foster carer library ticket
You can have an additional carer ticket as well as personal tickets in the family.
You can borrow up to 25 books on this ticket. The intention is that it can be used to help support the individual children in the home - with their homework, in improving attainment at school, to help with specific situations, problems and issues that may arise such as potty training, behaviour issues, new families, learning a skill.
There are no charges on this ticket.
Tickets can be used at any computer library in Derbyshire.
Books can be returned to any library in Derbyshire.
You can use a mobile library if you prefer, but will have to join separately there.
Books are loaned for 3 weeks but can be renewed in person or online.

Help with homework
Computer use is free. Printouts are 25p. We have access to various homework support packages such as encyclopaedias which can be accessed from a library computer or from home, although you will need a library card to access them.
