Before you visit
Find out everything you need to know including when you can visit, what's accepted, and important safety information on our recycling centre page.
You should:
- keep children and pets in cars
- sort your waste into different types before you arrive
- wear protective gloves, appropriate footwear and clothing
Register your vehicle to use the recycling centres
A high volume of visitors are accessing the registration system and it's running slower than usual. We're sorry for any problems this may cause.
Opening times
- open 8:30am to 6pm daily
- closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day
The recycling centre may have to temporarily close to compact the skips with machinery or other unavoidable operational reasons. We'll keep closures to a minimum.
Re-use shop
We have a re-use store open Wednesday to Sunday between 9am and 4pm (closing for lunch between 12.30pm and 1pm).
From furniture and homeware to garden equipment, books, CDs and vinyl, there’s a host of pre-loved items ready for a new home – so why not pop along and bag yourself a deal?
The reuse shop is stocked with items collected at this site and all everything is checked to make sure they are high quality before being displayed for sale.
