No yeast pizza base recipe

Use store cupboard ingredients to make a no yeast pizza base.


275g flour (2 and a half cups)

175ml water (3 quarters of a cup)

2 and 3 quarter teaspoons of baking powder

1 tablespoon oil


  1. Mix dry ingredients and add the water and the oil.
  2. Stir until it forms a ball. If the dough is stiff add more water a little at a time. The dough should be soft and not sticky.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Roll out into a pizza shape and add topping.
  5. Cook for 15 to 25 minutes at 200C or gas mark 6.
