White Hall risk assessments and safety standards

Experiencing elements of risk in a managed way can bring many benefits for young people and adults. With our professionally qualified and highly experienced staff and robust safety procedures and policies, we are able to provide you with that experience in a managed way.

Adventure Activities Licensing Authority

As an outdoor education centre delivering adventurous activities for young people, we're required by law to be inspected and assessed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) on the safety and quality of our service.

We're also regularly inspected by Derbyshire County Council's health and safety team to make sure our building, food and fire procedures conform to the county's high standards.

Risk assessments

All of our instructors hold the appropriate national governing body or local accreditation awards for the activities they are instructing.

Risk assessments are written for the main risk activities.

These are monitored and reviewed annually.
