Chesterfield 50+ Forum has developed a toe-nail cutting scheme for anyone in the community who has difficulty in cutting their own nails for reasons of age or health. The service is available on Tuesdays and Fridays between 1 and 2pm at Physiotherapy Clinic, 98 Saltergate (old NUM building) and costs £6.50 per session. No appointment necessary.

Long Eaton

Long Eaton 50+ forum open meetings are held between 9:45am and midday in the Council Chamber, Long Eaton Town Hall:

On Monday mornings, Roy Smith runs a drop-in session in the library at Long Eaton. Come along and join this popular activity! It starts at 9am.

We also run computer and tablet help sessions on Monday afternoons at Community House, Derby Road, Long Eaton from 1pm to 3pm. These are very informal and they're free. There will be three or four forum members to help with your queries and you can try our new Task Cards. These help you through the very first simple tasks you might want to do on your iPad or Android tablet.

Staveley Seniors Forum open meetings are on the last Thursday of every month from 10.30am to 12pm at Staveley Neighbourhood Community Centre. Doors open at 10am for light refreshments.

A toenail care service is held weekly on a Tuesday from 1.30pm at Rectory Road Surgery. Places must be booked. There's a small charge of £5 per visit. Please contact the surgery for more information: Tel: 01246 748000
