You'll need to be able to relate to people from all backgrounds and have patience and enthusiasm.
The tasks you may be involved in during your placement are:
- helping to organise sports, arts, drama and other activities
- taking part in projects which deal with issues such as health, bullying, crime or drugs
- assisting with general record keeping
You'll learn what’s involved in youth work, communication skills and how to relate to people from all backgrounds.
