You'll need to be confident with computers and have good spoken and written communication skills.
The tasks you may be involved in during your placement are:
- helping IT technicians to record problems and consider and propose solutions
- helping IT technicians set up new equipment and upgrade existing systems
- helping developers with ICT business solutions and project work
- helping IT technicians with general officer duties such as responding to ICT questions from our staff by telephone, email and in person
You'll learn what's involved in computers services within a public service setting.
