You'll need to have a patient, friendly and caring approach and the ability to relate to people from a variety of backgrounds.
The tasks you may be involved in during your placement are:
- helping to organise leisure activities for service users in a residential or day care setting
- helping service users with their daily activities
You'll learn about the role of the health and social care worker, health and safety and team working.
