Quality conversations training

How to have better conversations around mental health.

Quality conversations training will help participants develop more confidence for everyday conversations with people around mental health.

This half-day training is for staff and volunteers from statutory, community and voluntary sector organisations, working in Derbyshire county (excluding Derby city).

It is available as both a virtual (online interactive) and face-to-face course.

Registration and booking of places is through Eventbrite.

The course is designed to enable participants to:

• learn how to start conversations about wellbeing, mental health, and helpful ways to respond
• develop more confidence in everyday interactions around people's wellbeing
• learn mental health conversation skills for your working life - and life away from work

• Quality conversations training on 2 March 2026 from 9.15am to 12.30pm
• Quality conversations training on 24 March 2026 from 1.15am to 4.30pm
• Quality conversations training on 26 March 2026 from 1.15pm to 4.30pm
