As Foster for East Midlands, we're proud to be joining Derby City, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County Council to recruit more foster carers and improve the outcomes for the children we care for.
We're offering prospective foster carers increased levels of support through the creation of a regionalised recruitment hub.
Fostering for us means you are helping keep local children closer to home. As a non-profit organisation, we aim to place children with our own foster carers before contacting other agencies.
All of our foster carers receive an exceptional benefits, support and training package.

Fostering is...'Everything'
'Everything' is a short film that highlights how fostering can truly mean everything to those involved. This film was created in collaboration with over 100 local authorities, including Derby City, Derbyshire County Council, Nottingham City, and Nottinghamshire County Council.
The film tells the story of foster carer Mike and his family as they celebrate a surprise 60th birthday with 2 foster children, now adults, who reflect on how being fostered transformed their lives. Discover the lifelong impact of fostering and the bonds that go beyond the 'official' caring role.
