The annual festival is set within the beautiful grounds of Elvaston Castle Country Park, which add to the unique feel of this special event. Visitors also have the opportunity to explore the woodland, formal gardens, lake and parkland that surround the castle.

This is a great day out for all the family with lots of fun activities for children, unique items, gifts and furniture to buy, shire horses, birds of prey and an array of stalls. People from near and far flocked to our 18th annual Woodland Festival this year in the grounds of Elvaston Castle Country Park.
Anyone who came along and wants to share their comments and images can join the conversation on the Derbyshire Woodland Festival 2018 Facebook page.
In 2019 the Festival will be on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September. Meanwhile Elvaston Castle Country Park is open all year round with opportunities for walking, cycling, horse riding, bird watching, picnicking, kite flying and exploring the park and nature reserve. The buildings and gardens are both registered (Grade 2 and Grade 2*) as being of special architectural and historical interest. Take a look at our Flickr page for images from previous festivals.
