From Thursday 5 November the Government has announced a month-long lockdown across the whole of England. From Thursday the new national lockdown rules will replace the current tier 2 high alert measures across the county. Stay safe – do it for Derbyshire.

Toilets at Elvaston Castle

There are 3 toilet blocks located on the estate.


Elvaston Castle

They can be found at the following locations:

  • in the central cobbled courtyard (baby changing facilities are available in the female toilet)
  • in the castle corridor adjacent to Wyatt's tea rooms
  • at the entrance to the pay and display car park

Please note that the castle corridor toilets are currently closed due to COVID-19.

Toilets are open from 9am to 5pm every day. The will however be temporary closures throughout the day to allow for additional cleaning.

The pay and display car park toilets are open to 8pm in accordance with the summer opening times.

There are disabled access toilets at each of these locations. Elvaston also has a changing places toilet within the main car park.
