Toilets at Elvaston Castle

There are 3 toilet blocks located on the estate.


Elvaston Castle

They can be found at the following locations:

  • in the central cobbled courtyard (baby changing facilities are available in the female toilet) - open from 9am to 4.45pm
  • in the castle corridor adjacent to Wyatt's tea rooms (baby changing facilities in both toilets) - open from 10am to 3.30pm
  • at the entrance to the pay and display car park (baby changing facilities in the female toilets) - open from 9am to 5pm in winter, and 9am to 8pm in summer

There are disabled access toilets at each of these locations. Elvaston also has a changing places toilet within the main car park.

Changing Places toilet

Elvaston Castle and Country Park has a permanent Changing Places toilet. It's located within the toilet block at the entrance to the main car park.

Operating hours are the same as the car park opening hours:

  • 9am to 5pm 1 November to 31 March
  • 9am to 8pm 1 April to 31 October
