Hepthorne Lane

This short trail is a well-used local walk linking schools and houses.
People sat beside a countryside path

Barbecues are not permitted at any of our sites.

It used to be the old railway incline that linked the Great Central Railway to the London Midland and Scottish Railway. Now it is a peaceful spot with views over open countryside.

The footpath is not far from the Five Pits Trail, Old Tupton, North Wingfield and Clay Cross.
