Whether you're a parent, grandparent, carer or curious learner, this is your chance to explore new skills, spark imaginations and make lasting memories with the people you love most.
What is the family learning festival?
The Family Learning Festival is a national celebration that champions learning in everyday family life. Held every October, it’s a chance to discover how learning together, at any age, can boost confidence, wellbeing and achievement.
From storytelling and science experiments to baking, dancing and creative crafts, the festival offers something for everyone. It’s about finding joy in learning, trying something new, and building stronger bonds through shared experiences. Organised by the Campaign for Learning Campaign for Learning, the Festival encourages families to explore their interests, uncover hidden talents and take the first steps toward lifelong learning.
Who is It for?
Everyone! The Family Learning Festival welcomes families of all shapes and sizes from toddlers to teens, parents to grandparents. Whether you're looking for a fun afternoon activity or a short course to build new skills, there’s something for every age and stage.
