Learning at Work week 18 to 24 May 2026

Discover new skills, build confidence, and grow your workplace potential.

Many ways to Learn

Learning at Work Week 2026 celebrates this year’s theme, 'Many Ways to Learn', a reminder that learning can happen anywhere, at any pace, and in many different forms. The week shines a spotlight on diverse and inclusive ways to build skills for the future.

At Derbyshire Adult Community Education Service (DACES), we’re already embracing these approaches through our current offer. From collaborative community learning and practical skills courses to digital upskilling, creative workshops and personalised learner support, we champion flexible and meaningful learning experiences for adults across Derbyshire. Our programmes show that there are many accessible and empowering ways for people to continue learning and growing.

We believe learning should be open to everyone. Throughout Learning at Work Week, we’ll be showcasing a wide range of courses, workshops and opportunities designed to support individuals, employees and small businesses to develop new skills, strengthen confidence and thrive in the workplace.

What Learning at Work Week is about

Learning at Work Week encourages people to:
