Brightside courses are normally 12 hours long, spread over a few weeks. They deliver a rich variety of practical and hands on skills, such as outdoor and creative activities, cooking and relaxation all in a friendly setting.
These free courses are available for anyone experiencing mental health difficulties, or emotional or psychological distress. One in 4 of us go through this at some time in our lives. People can join Brightside as an individual or through a support group.
Some of the types of courses that are being offered are:
- healthy eating and cooking on a budget
- creative journaling
- Tai Chi
- willow weaving
If you want to gain confidence and improve your self-esteem then let us know what else we could offer you.
Run your own group
We're running Brightside peer support group training for people who are confident enough to run their own group.
If you're interested then discuss this with your local Brightside representative or with your tutor.
