We've made the following traffic regulation order - The Derbyshire County Council (Alfreton)(Various Streets)(Waiting Restrictions) Traffic Regulation Order 2026. We've made the following orders - The Derbyshire County Council (Vicarage Lane, Duffield) (Prohibition of Driving – School Street) Experimental Traffic Order 2025 and The Derbyshire County Council (Castle Hill and King Street, Duffield) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Experimental Traffic Order 2025, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The orders introduce an 18-month experiment from 22 April 2025, introducing a prohibition of driving of motor vehicles Monday to Friday, 8.20am to 9.05am and 3pm to 3.45pm on Vicarage Lane, Duffield, and associated complimentary waiting prohibitions and restrictions on both Castle Hill and King Street, Duffield. The experiment runs until 21 October 2026 with the first 6 months of operation being the period of time when objections can be made to the orders being made permanent.
