What this consultation is about

The national survey of adult carers in England (SACE) takes place every two years. It asks carers about their quality of life, their general health and wellbeing. A sample of carers will be selected at random to receive the questionnaire by post.

Managed centrally by NHS Digital, the results are included in official statistics reports and help inform local and national policy decisions.
