Engagement of children's vision and hearing screening, 0 to 19 public health nursing services and children's centres

Status: Closed

Opens: 15 April 2019 - Closes: 10 May 2019

What this consultation is about

This is an engagement rather than a consultation.

As well as providing home visiting services, the public health nursing service also helps to provide vision and hearing screening in reception aged children.

We're interested in your views about a different approach to checking children's vision and hearing before they start school.

This engagement aims to set out a proposal to adopt a different approach to checking children's vision before they start school, find out how important the residents of Derbyshire feel public health nursing and children's centres are, and if they support the proposal that public health financially support children's centres.
