What this consultation is about

We would like your views on our revised equality and diversity policy 2017.

We believe that promoting equality and diversity through all our work is important, and will work with partners and communities to deliver the following vision:

"A fair and inclusive Derbyshire, where all communities are strong places, where equality and diversity are seen as positive aspects of everyday life and where individuals get on well together and feel included in the communities in which they live, work or study".

The Equality and Diversity Policy applies to all our employees and elected members. This policy also extends to any other person, group or organisation employed or commissioned by us to deliver services or carry out work on our behalf.

Before completing the online survey, please read the draft policy, which is attached to this page.

If you require the questionnaire in paper format please email: haveyoursay@derbyshire.gov.uk or tel: 01629 538267.
