Connect to Work

Connect to Work is a new, voluntary supported employment programme designed to help people in Derbyshire to:

  • move into paid work
  • stay in work
  • remain in their jobs if they are at risk due to health issues or other challenges

Connect to Work funded by UK government in partnership with Claire Ward, Mayor of the East Midlands, East Midlands Combined County Authority Complete the expression of interest form

The programme is funded by the government and delivered locally in partnership with the East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA).

Connect to Work supports residents who:

  • are disabled
  • have a long-term health condition
  • face complex barriers to employment

It provides personalised, one-to-one support, helping people build confidence, develop skills, and access reliable and lasting work opportunities.

Connect to Work is being introduced in phases across the East Midlands area of Derbyshire, Derby, Nottinghamshire and Nottingham. Residents can express interest at any time and will be notified when support becomes available in their area.
