Activities and events at Shipley Country Park

We organise a programme of events throughout the year. We're also able to support external organisations who wish to organise their own events at the park.

There are many other activities and events in Shipley Country Park that are organised by groups such as Heanor Running Club, Guide Dogs, Horse Endurance GB, schools and local scout and guide groups.

Volunteering

We have a range of opportunities for carrying out voluntary work.

Organising your own event

Shipley Country Park can be used for a wide range of activities.

Groups using the park for events are encouraged to be self-led, and the rangers at Shipley Country Park are available to offer support and advice.
