"From this point if you look over towards the east ward direction, you'll see Strawberry Bank. The rather large escarpment is the highest natural point in Nottinghamshire, which is 203 metres above sea level. Going back into the Iron Age there was actually a hill fort located just here. And from the point it would probably be the most ideal place you could have because you can see for miles upon miles from this point. Behind Strawberry Bank is the village of Huthwaite and from Huthwaite is the best point to access Brierley Forest Park, which is a 100 hectare country park that was created from old colliery workings from the Sutton colliery."
