Net Zero Heroes

It's not just the familiar faces leading the way on climate change. Everyday people are going about their lives in quietly revolutionary ways – helping cut carbon emissions in Derbyshire and make the UK and the wider world a greener place.

We want to say thank you to everyone doing their bit to help by giving them the recognition they deserve.

Anyone can be nominated as a Net Zero Hero if they:

• live, work or attend school in Derbyshire
• aren't paid officials in an environmental capacity, just everyday people going One Step Greener for the planet
• have found meaningful ways to take positive environmental action by changing their own habits or lifestyle or helping others to do so, peacefully and without engaging in anti-social activity or behaviour

With their permission, we'll share their story on our website and social media channels to recognise their efforts and inspire others to take action themselves. And if you have a great idea to share we want to hear from you too.
