The county behaviour support service
This service supports schools to improve pupil behaviour and reduce exclusions, to support the re-integration of excluded pupils and to provide or secure the best possible education for pupils who are unable to attend school as a result of their behaviour.
The Local Inclusion Officer (LIO) service
The LIO service supports inclusion in schools and settings for children and young people with special educational needs.
Sensory and physical support services
Children who are deaf and hearing impaired (SSD and HI)
The support service for children who are deaf and hearing impaired work with children and young people and their families offering information and support from the point of diagnosis of hearing loss to leaving school or college.
Children with physical impairments (SSPI)
The support service for children with physical impairments (SSPI) offers educational guidance and support to children and young people (0 to 19 years of age) who have a physical impairment or a significant medical need.
Children with vision impairment (SSVI)
The support service for children with vision impairment (SSVI) work with children and young people, and their families, offering information and support where vision difficulties (that can't be corrected with glasses) may impede learning or development.
Early Years Special Educational Needs Support Service
The Early Years Special Educational Needs Support Service (EYSENS) works with children aged 0 to 5 who have complex and long-term needs, both with birth diagnosis and emerging developmental concerns.

Independent advocacy
The Independent advocacy service is available to vulnerable children and young adults (up to age 24 with SEND). Advocacy aims to help and support children and young people to ensure their views are heard when decisions are being made.
