Schools and youth organisations

Lea Green Centre offers a wide variety of environments and different approaches to learning and development, which are tailored according to the needs of your group. Both residential and non-residential day visits can be booked, as well as activities at your base or out in the Peak District.

We cater for all ages, abilities, and group sizes. Working alongside you, our planners will create a bespoke programme for your group, combining adventurous activities to achieve your desired learning outcomes and meet the needs of all group members. Our inclusive courses are designed to challenge children, build confidence, and give a sense of adventure, whilst improving teamwork, communication, and physical awareness skills.

Additional needs and accessibility

Many of our activities can be accessed by those with additional needs, with or without adaptation, as part of either a day visit or a residential stay.

SEN soft play sessions are regularly advertised and can be booked by individuals or family groups.

Meadow Lodge, our accessible accommodation, can be booked by schools, groups and families for activity breaks, respite or holidays.

Regular weekly activity sessions or alternative provision programmes can be delivered to meet individual requirements.

Adult team building and courses

Adult visits to develop workplace skills, such as leadership, communication and team work, are tailored to your workplace needs, desired outcomes and your budget. They can be a programme in themselves or combined with meetings, as we have meeting and conference facilities available.

Lea Green offers one day, 2 day and paediatric outdoor first aid courses, suitable for those working or volunteering in an outdoor environment.

Parties and social occasions

We run a range of activity days and events throughout the year, including school holiday activities and festivals.

You can hire the soft play for a children's party or book an outdoor adventure party with activities. We even take bookings for 'bigger kids' too, including special birthdays or family events.

Meetings, conferences, events and more

The Lea Green site covers some 25 acres of parkland, sports pitches and woodland, and has numerous facilities including a large sports hall and meeting rooms in the main house.

The perfect place for large events, Lea Green could host your community gala, sports meet or music and social events.

Group accommodation

The Georgian manor house of Lea Green, with its neighbouring buildings, has a wide range of accommodation that can be used independently or alongside each other, depending on the size and requirements of your group.

With self-catered and fully-catered options available, Lea Green can accommodate up to 118 people indoors.

Options include camping, glamping, accessible accommodation or private hire of the centre.

Catering

Lea Green Centre has a catering team, that can provide breakfast, lunch and evening meals for groups and individuals if booked in advance.

Meals can range from packed lunches and cold buffets to roast dinners and 3-course meals, and we can cater for all diets.

Activities

There are a wide variety of activities available for individuals, groups and families of all ages and abilities. Some of our activities take place within our grounds, whilst others take place in the surrounding countryside.
