Holiday activities and food programme

The programme offers a range of school holiday activities for children and young people across Derbyshire in the Easter, summer and Christmas school holidays.

Department for Education

The sessions are free for families who claim benefit related free school meals and are provided by a range of local organisations and groups.

Free places may also be available to children in vulnerable groups, including children with special educational needs (SEND) our young carers, who are not currently in receipt of free school meals. A small fee may be applicable for other applicants.

Places are available on a first come, first served basis, with priority given to children who receive free school meals and those with vulnerabilities.

Summer holiday activity and food programme

Following a successful Easter programme, we'll be working with our local partners and providers to develop a programme of activities for the summer 2022 school holidays. We'll add information and booking details when the activities have been confirmed. This is likely be in July 2022.
