Family learning

Our family learning courses include 'supporting families' and 'learning together to support parents'.

Health and wellbeing and mental health first aid

Brightside supports those experiencing mild to moderate mental ill health, helping to develop self-care techniques, and manage stress and anxiety, build social connections, and improve emotional wellbeing.

Supported learning for independence and employability

We have supported learning courses for independence and employability where you can gain skills for volunteering and community involvement through programmes such as the Volunteer Passport

Learning for supporting others

Build everyday life skills to improve wellbeing, develop employability skills, and to support children's development.

The courses are delivered in a supportive and inclusive environment and they provide opportunities to gain new skills, increase confidence, and achieve personal goals.

Free or low-cost programmes are available throughout the year, with clear progression routes into further learning, volunteering, employment, and community participation. The courses are designed to help you thrive at home, in your community and beyond.
