Award in Education and Training Level 3

The Award in Education and Training Level 3 course is an ideal first step for trainee teachers, those interested in delivering workplace training, and those wanting to move into teaching and training their specialist subject in the post-16, further education or adult education sector.

The course enables you to develop knowledge and practical skills needed to be able to deliver lessons or training sessions. Over 3 units, you will build up a portfolio of evidence and deliver a 'micro-teach', helping you to develop your presentation and teaching skills.

Working within adult teaching and training can be a fulfilling and rewarding career, and can be flexible to fit around your other commitments.

We regularly advertise for adult education tutors via our jobs sitefor specialists in a range of subjects. You would work with Derbyshire residents to develop their skills for life and work.

We offer the Award in Education and Training as a flexible course, online with the support of a course tutor. Your micro-teach session would likely be in person at The Hub in South Normanton.

To join, you must have English and maths qualifications at level 2 as well as good knowledge and skills in the subject specialism that you would like to teach.

This course enables you to progress to the Certificate in Education and Training Level 4 course. Find out more and apply for our Award in Education and Training from our online course search.
