It contains requirements relating to financial management and associated issues, which are binding on both us and on the schools.
The scheme applies to all community, nursery, voluntary or foundation schools, community or foundation special schools and pupil referral units maintained by us, whether they are situated in our area or elsewhere. It does not apply to academies.
