£3 million scheme for road improvements suggested by local councillors

Published: 13 January 2026

More roads in Derbyshire will be resurfaced after local councillors put forward those residential roads most needing repair in their areas. In total, 19 roads will be resurfaced at a cost of £3 million.

Our Cabinet Member for Potholes, Highways and Transport, Councillor Charlotte Hill, said:

“I am pleased that we have been able to agree to resurface these residential roads.

“They reflect all areas of the county, and I am sure local residents will be pleased to hear that their street is on the list for repair.
