Armed Forces Day

Armed Forces Day in the United Kingdom is an annual event celebrated in late June to commemorate the service of men and women in the British Armed Forces. Although an official event, it's not a public holiday in the UK.

Veterans' Day was first observed in 2006. The name was changed to Armed Forces Day in 2009.

The event is held on Saturday 27 June 2026, but, the celebration period can cover the weekend before or the weekend after 27 June 2026.
