My Plan is our approach to providing all employees with:
- clear information about the expected contribution they will make to their team, service and corporate plans
- an opportunity to discuss personal development to support the achievement of those expectations
- an opportunity to discuss ideas, concerns, ambitions and share learning
- receive useful feedback on what they have done well and discuss potential to continuously improve performance
A My Plan conversation ensures that our priorities or objectives are translated into personal objectives (or goals) for all employees.
For adult care and children's services employees, My Plan will complement, not replace, the existing supervision practices.
Guidance for line managers and employees
Attached to this page is guidance for both line managers and employees, including Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) policy and guidance and the management of occupational road risk.
An eLearning module - My Plan guidance for managers, can be accessed from our learning platform. When you log in for the first time, your username is your sap payroll number and the password is 'welcome'. You'll then be required to change your password.
A guide is available from the log in page. Pop-ups must be enabled on the machine to allow the eLearning courses to run. How to enable pop-ups is included in the guide.
Once you have access to the site you can undertake other courses with approval from your line manager. Non-work related courses can be completed in your own time as they are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
