Dangerous road junctions

We constantly monitor safety at road junctions and investigate any accidents or public concerns which are identified.

Some examples of work which may be carried out to improve safety at junctions include:

  • traffic lights
  • roundabouts
  • pedestrian crossings
  • improvements to road surfaces
  • better drainage
  • warning signs
  • road markings
  • street lighting
  • protective devices such as safety barriers.
