From Thursday 5 November the Government has announced a month-long lockdown across the whole of England. From Thursday the new national lockdown rules will replace the current tier 2 high alert measures across the county. Stay safe – do it for Derbyshire.
Children and young people with additional needs want to go to the same groups and activities as their family and friends wherever possible.
You can use our family information service to find details of inclusive childcare, activities and youth clubs. You'll find information about sports clubs and activities for disabled children on Active Derbyshire.
We also work with several organisations to provide group activities for disabled children and young people who can't go to local groups because of their support needs.
For disabled children and young people who need a higher level of support we can provide short break services as part of an agreed plan following an assessment of a child or young person’s needs.
