Before starting your application, make sure that you have read
How to apply for a place at Secondary school.
When you begin your online application for a school place, you will be asked to supply a username
and a password so that your application can only be accessed by you. Your application
will also be allocated a unique code, to enable it to be identified. It is important that you remember
your username, password and unique code as you will need all three to log into the system to make changes,
view your application or the school place offered. If you do not have these details you will not be able
to log in again.
The online application form is split into three pages:
Once you have completed each page you can move to the next using the ‘Continue to next page’ button at the bottom of the page. The information you supply is checked as you move through the application and you will not be able to continue until all essential information has been provided. Remember that some pages may be longer than your screen so you may need to scroll down to see all of the details.
Once you have finished your application, you will see a summary screen where you can review the information you have supplied. We suggest that you print this screen for your records.
If you are happy with the application then click the ‘Submit Application’ button. You will then be taken to an acknowledgment screen which confirms your application has been received by us. If you have provided an email address your application will also be acknowledged by email.
You must only use one method to apply for a place. If you have already made a telephone or paper application you must not apply online, similarly if you apply online you must not make a telephone or paper application.
We only collect information about you and your child that we are required to by law. The information you provide will only be used for schools admissions purposes, and we will not share it with any third party without your consent, unless required by law. This application form does not store personal data on your computer. We use the same security technology as online banks and shops to encrypt the data so that it cannot be read or tampered with when it is sent to us. You can tell when a web page is secure by looking for a closed padlock icon.
Your application can be changed up until the closing date for applications,
To do this you will need your unique application code, username and password.
Once you have updated your admission details you have to submit the application
again. If you have provided an email address your updated application will again be acknowledged by email.
Once the results have been published on National Offer Day, 1st March 2016 at 09:30am
then you will be able to view the school place offered and, if you are not happy with the place, request an appeal pack.
Your application can be viewed online up until the closing date for applications. To do this
you will need your username, password and unique application code. If you provided an
email address when creating your account you can also view the PDF we sent you.
You can update the email address associated with your application until the closing date of 31st October 2015.
This will allow you to update the email address that the admissions confirmation is sent to and also the email address that the offer day email will be sent to.
If you change your email address after the closing date, you should email email@example.com
so that we can make alternative arrangements to let you know the outcome of your application.
