We can give you a handout showing the layout of our building for you to use during your visit. Staff are always happy to show you where things are or how to use our facilities.
If you haven't already got an Archives Card or a Derbyshire library card, you'll need to register with us.
We recommend everybody registers with us as you may find some material which is only available to see in the search room or on a computer.
We also offer regular 'Introduction to the Record Office' sessions, where a member of staff will tell you all about our services, give you a tour around the building and let you handle some of our documents. The dates are on our events listings.
