Mousley Bottom Mousley Bottom, New Mills, is a wonderful riverside, parkland and Local Nature Reserve.

From the heart of New Mills follow the Millennium Walkway to this newly declared Local Nature Reserve, part of the Torrs Riverside Park.

Ramble by the river and walk through the woodlands and discover the newly created wetland area. Mousley Bottom now sits where once a landfill site, gas works and sewage works stood.

Explore this haven for wildlife. Why not follow the long distance walk, the Midshire's Way, through the site and on towards Hague Bar? Mousley Bottom is only a short stroll downhill from New Mills Central Station.
