This car park provides a good base to explore the local Public Rights of Way, including the Derwent Valley Heritage Way.


It is close to Peak Rail's Darley Dale Station (a steam heritage line), Whitworth Park and the River Derwent.

With patience, you can spot all manner of wildlife as the site is close to the River Derwent.
