About the area

The Rowthorne trail, near Hardwick Hall, is part of the Phoenix Greenways which are a network of trails that run through Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

They are a relic of our area's industrial past that has been reclaimed from the railway lines once used by coal mines in the area. Now they are a great place to walk and cycle and in some places horse ride.

Snapshot surveys suggest around 199 vehicles use the car park during an average summer week and the park also attracts many visitors on foot.

What's available

A hard-standing space in the car park to be let by competitive tender for one year − with the potential of an annual renewal for up to three further years − and subject to a commercial licence.
