Primary and Secondary NQTs and Mentors
We are delighted to continue our new approach to NQT training, which was successfully introduced last year. Feedback from NQTs was very positive, particularly commenting that is was good to be able to access a personalised programme of training from a programme of high quality workshops.
Information about this year's NQT conference and further training opportunities for NQts can be found via the course search. In addition to our NQT provision, we also offer the following session to all NQT co-ordinators, mentors and head teachers:
Provide clear information and resources for schools to meet the Statutory requirements of NQT Induction. The experienced course tutors will expertly guide Mentors through the process step-by-step.
These briefings are taking place on 16/09/2013, 10/01/2014 and 05/06/2014 (you will only need to attend one session).

"Positive Behaviour Management" KS1 & KS2 NQT Professional Development Course
This course is aimed at NQTs and focuses on the implementation of positive behaviour strategies to allow children to meet our expectations and maximise their learning. The rationale of the course is to support NQTs in a collegiate way of working, sharing ideas, evaluating progress, group problem solving and solution-focused approach to develop "good" behaviours for learning.
